Jay Houston, real name James Ford, is an American rapper, formerly known as Jaimz & Rizz'n . He was born on March 18th, 1987 in Washington, DC. Houston started his rapping career under the name mononym Jaimz and put out his debut mixtape A Gift 4 Da Street'z in 2001 at the age of 14.  From 2001-2008 Jay Houston dropped a plethora of mixtapes such as "Lights Out" (2001) "Pyromaniac" (2002) "Battlefield 3:16" (2006) & "Fiend V. 101"(2008) just to name a few. in 2011 Jay Houston geared up for one of his biggest mixtapes as he decided to drop a project entitled "The American Funeral" which was released on March 27th, 2012 and spawned the much loved single entitled "Move To Mars" which garnered over one thousand downloads and got spotlight on the Eddie Kayne block  party in may of 2012. The American Funeral was Houston's biggest success as it got over 2,000 downloads and generally favorable reviews. Jay Houston is also one of the biggest online promoters in the DMV area as he has promoted songs for Che Merk & DC Grind King. As of August 2012 Houston is gearing up for his biggest release Underground King Buried Alive which has the hit DMV singles Mirror Feat. Che Merk which has over 2000 downloads and his newest single entitled "GO!". Underground King Buried Alive will features guest appearances from Che Merk, Fat Trel, Sherell Rowe, Sabo-Taj, DC Grind King & Carry Davinci.
